KHARTOUM -- At least 11 people, including three children, were killed and 17 others injured on Saturday in armed clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in El Fasher, the capital of western North Darfur State, the non-governmental Sudanese Doctors Network announced in a statement.

RABAT -- Two people died, and 14 are missing after a bus was swept away by floodwaters in Morocco's southern Tata province on Friday, state news agency MAP reported on Saturday.

GAZA -- Four employees of the Gaza-based health authorities were killed on Saturday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a warehouse in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, the health authorities said.

TOKYO -- Unprecedented rainfall hit Japan's Ishikawa Prefecture on Saturday, leaving one person dead and seven missing, local media reported.
