TEHRAN, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Sunday its intelligence forces had arrested 12 individuals linked to Israel across six provinces, alleging they sought to "perpetrate anti-security acts" against Iranians.

In a statement published on its official news outlet Sepah News, the IRGC referred to the arrestees as "mercenary elements cooperating with Israel" in the form of a network, without specifying the time or locations of the arrests.

According to the IRGC, the network, identified by its Intelligence Organization, was part of Israel's "conspiracy" to orchestrate a "series of anti-security actions" in Iran's territory. Enditem
