WELLINGTON -- The Chinese embassy in New Zealand on Thursday evening held a reception in Wellington, the country's capital, to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

SYDNEY -- Over 1,000 engineers of Australia's national airline Qantas have walked off the job at Australia's second-busiest airport amid a pay dispute.
