BEIRUT/JERUSALEM -- Hezbollah claimed responsibility for an attack on Safed, an Israeli city in northern Israel, late Friday night.

The militia group in Lebanon said the attacks were "In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the barbaric Israeli invasion of cities, villages, and civilians." (Israel-Beirut-Strike)

KHARTOUM -- At least 8 people were killed and 95 others injured in an attack by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on Friday in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State in western Sudan, a local official stated.

"The RSF shelling targeted the Souq Al-Mawashi (livestock) market, south of El Fasher, which was crowded with civilians," Ibrahim Khatir, director-general of North Darfur State's health ministry, told Xinhua. (Sudan-RSF Attack)

SANAA -- Yemen's Houthi group on Friday claimed that it had fired "23 ballistic and winged missiles and a drone" at "three U.S. warships" in the Red Sea.
