GHAZNI, Afghanistan, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- Four persons including a child and three rescuers lost their lives due to electric shock in eastern Afghanistan's Ghazni province on Monday, provincial police spokesman Khalid Sarhadi said Tuesday.

A three-year-old child fell to a well in Deyak district and three individuals tried to rescue him. But electric shock killed the child and all his rescuers on the spot, the official added.

Without providing more details, the official added that the rescue team used an electric instrument to take the child out of the well. Enditem
