NEW DELHI -- At least 10 people were killed and three others injured Friday after a goods truck hit a tractor trolley from behind in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, police said.

The accident took place early Friday on G T Road in Mirzapur district, about 345 km southeast of Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. (India-Road Accident)

BEIRUT -- Two paramedics from the Hezbollah-linked Islamic Health Authority were killed and three others wounded on Friday in an Israeli airstrike on an ambulance in Marjeyoun town of southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese medical sources.

The sources, who spoke anonymously, said an Israeli drone fired an air-to-ground missile at an ambulance belonging to the health organization as it passed in front of the Marjeyoun Governmental Hospital in the town. (Lebanon-Israel-Strikes)

MADRID -- The pilot of a Spanish Air-Force F-18 fighter died on Friday after his aircraft crashed near the municipality of Perales de Alfambra in the northeastern region of Aragon, the Spanish air force has confirmed.

The accident happened shortly after 13:00 hours local time (11:00 hours GMT), under circumstances that remain unknown. The pilot, who has been identified as Lieutenant Colonel Pablo Estrada Martin, was unable to eject from the plane. (Spain-Fighter Crash)

SARAJEVO -- The death toll from rain-triggered flash floods in central Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has risen to 19, the local government said on Friday.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNC) confirmed that 16 individuals have been killed so far in the Jablanica municipality, including a baby. Doctors are racing against time to save the mother, an official from HNC said. (Bosnia and Herzegovina-Floods-Deaths)
