PARIS -- Four migrants including a 2-year-old child died overnight Friday while attempting to cross the English Channel illegally, the French Pas-de-Calais prefecture said Saturday afternoon.

WASHINGTON -- Leaked emails from senior officials in the State Department and Pentagon show White House ignored early warning of the humanitarian catastrophe and possible war crimes from Israeli offensives in Gaza, Reuters reported Friday.
