ISLAMABAD, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Four terrorists were killed in two military operations in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani military, said on Thursday night that personnel of security forces engaged with terrorists in two locations in the province.
The ISPR said that the first engagement occurred in Janikhel area of Bannu district, resulting in the killing of two terrorists.
In another operation, two terrorists were killed during an exchange of fire in Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan district of the province.
The ISPR said that the killed terrorists were actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as abductions and killing of civilians in the areas. Enditem
