MEXICO CITY, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Mexico's inflation outlook has improved while the risk of rising remains, especially with regard to the price of some services, the Bank of Mexico (Banxico) said Thursday.

According to the minutes of the bank's most recent monetary policy meeting, the five-member Board of Governors agreed that inflation in the services sector "continues to persist."

The board noted that the country's inflationary outlook has been improving following the "deep global shocks" of recent years and the indicator could decline to the bank's 3.0-percent target rate by the fourth quarter of 2025.

Inflation in Mexico stood at 4.58 percent in September, according to the most recent official data. Enditem
