JERUSALEM -- One of the two drones launched from Lebanon into central Israel on Friday night hit a residential building in the Israeli city of Herzliya without causing any casualties, said the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The other drone was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force, as the two drones were tracked from the moment they crossed into Israeli territory, the IDF said. (Israel-Lebanon-Drone Attack)

TEHRAN -- Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced on Friday that the body of its senior commander, Abbas Nilforoushan, who was reportedly killed alongside Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon last month, has been found.

BEIRUT -- The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said on Friday that two peacekeepers were injured in two explosions near a watchtower in the Lebanese border area of Labbouneh.

ISTANBUL -- Three people were injured when a 17-year-old knife-wielding assailant randomly attacked pedestrians in Istanbul, Türkiye's largest city, local media reported on Friday.
