JAKARTA, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia recorded 22.73 billion U.S. dollars in deals at Southeast Asia's largest trade exhibition, Trade Expo Indonesia, in Tangerang on Oct. 9-12.

The figure included 19.69 billion dollars in goods and services transactions and 3.04 billion dollars in investment transactions.

"This figure exceeds our target and the achievement of last year, which was 15 billion U.S. dollars," Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan said on Saturday.

A total of 1,460 exhibitors in the fields of food, beverage, and agricultural products, manufacturing goods, as well as home living, fashion, and services participated in the event.

India contributed the largest share of transactions, totaling 7.46 billion dollars, followed by Vietnam with 3.67 billion dollars and the Netherlands with 2.76 billion dollars. Enditem
