SHIBERGHAN, Afghanistan, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Three commuters lost their lives and 13 others sustained injuries in two road accidents in north Afghanistan's Jawzjan and Samangan provinces on Friday, police said Saturday.

Two persons were killed and 11 others injured after a car overturned due to reckless driving in Khanaqa district of Jawzjan province on Friday evening, provincial police spokesman Abdul Satar Halimi said.

The other accident happened in Aybak city, the capital of Samangan province, on Friday afternoon, leaving one dead and injuring two. Enditem
