BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Adrian Martinez scored twice as Racing Club survived a late scare to clinch a 4-3 home win over Defensa y Justicia in Argentina's Primera Division on Saturday.

Gaston Martirena put his side ahead on the half hour and Martinez made it 3-0 at half time with two goals in six minutes.

Matias Ramirez pulled a goal back for the visitors with a 70th minute strike and Abiel Osorio further eroded Defensa y Justicia's lead by converting a 76th-minute penalty.

Maxmiliano Salas gave Racing some breathing space with his side's fourth goal six minutes from time. Defensa y Justicia again narrowed the deficit through Aaron Molina's 92nd-minute effort but Racing held on to secure their eighth win of the campaign.

In other Argentine Primera Division fixtures on Saturday, Huracan won 1-0 at Union Santa Fe, Tigre eased to a 3-0 home victory over struggling Boca Juniors and Platense prevailed 1-0 at Belgrano. Enditem
