Bruneian scouts conclude Jamboree events

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Federation (PPNBD) concluded Jamboree events on Sunday, successfully gathering participants from various scout branches nationwide in Brunei, a local media report said.

According to the local daily Borneo Bulletin, the 67th Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) and the 28th Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) were held from Oct. 18 to 20. The scouts engaged in a variety of interactive activities, including International Radio Communication Sessions.

During the closing ceremony held at the Scouts Training and Activity Center, Skipper Muhammad Arman Jahran bin Abdullah Besi, acting headquarters commissioner for Media and IT at PPNBD, underscored the importance of JOTA-JOTI as a vital platform for introducing scouts to contemporary technologies.
