DAMASCUS, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- A suspected Israeli drone strike hit a vehicle in the Mazzeh neighborhood west of the capital Damascus on Monday, burning the car and killing its occupants, Syrian state media reported.

Syrian state television said the attack was an act of "aggression." The targeted vehicle was located in the western part of the capital, near the Ministry of Information.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and local eyewitnesses confirmed the strike, without providing an exact number of casualties.

The identities of the occupants have not yet been confirmed, and Syrian authorities are investigating the incident. Enditem
