PHNOM PENH, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- Chea Chanto, former governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), died on Friday at the age of 73 due to illness, according to an official statement.

The funeral will be held at his house in Phnom Penh's Chroy Changvar district, the statement added.
