SINGAPORE -- Singapore's manufacturing production rose 9.8 percent year-on-year in September, according to data released by the Economic Development Board Friday.

ISLAMABAD -- Ten terrorists were killed during an operation in Pakistan's eastern Punjab province, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of police said.
