TEHRAN/JERUSALEM -- Israel announced on Saturday it launched "precise and targeted" pre-dawn airstrikes on Iranian military targets in response to Tehran's Oct. 1 missile attacks.

TEHRAN -- The Jaish al-Zulm "terrorist" group on Saturday claimed responsibility for a deadly attack on law enforcement forces in the southeastern Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan earlier in the day, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.

Ten members of Iran's law enforcement forces, comprising conscripts and policemen, were killed in the "terrorist" attack in Taftan County, said Iran's police command in a statement. (Iran-Terrorist Attack)

GAZA -- At least 30 Palestinians were killed on Saturday evening by the Israeli bombing of the town of Beit Lahia in the north of the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian official news agency WAFA reported.

The Israeli army shelled a residential square that includes at least five houses, and the victims included women and children, WAFA said. (Gaza Strip-Hamas-Israel)

JERUSALEM -- The Israel Defense Forces, the Israel Security Agency, and the Israel Police said in a joint statement that they killed a Palestinian Hamas militant in the West Bank city of Tulkarm on Saturday.
