BAGHDAD -- The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a Shiite militia group, on Sunday claimed responsibility for three drone strikes on sites in northern and southern Israel.

The incident occurred on Friday when a pest-control spraying plane was landing in an agricultural area while "its captain was surprised by the entry of a tuk-tuk, a small tricycle auto, onto the runway," Gedaref State's acting Minister of Agriculture, Ammar Suleiman, told Xinhua. MANILA -- The death toll from tropical storm Trami that slammed into the Philippines this week has risen to 110, with at least 42 still missing, due to massive flooding and landslides, the Philippines' National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Sunday.
