China's Chen claims two golds in kitesurfing

PINGTAN, China, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- China's Chen Yiman captured two gold medals at an international kitesurfing event on Sunday.

The event attracted over 80 athletes from around the world to one of China's top destinations for the sport.

Chen triumphed in both the women's big air and twin-tip racing events, while Thailand's Pudla Narapichit won the men's twin-tip racing. China's Xie Weixin claimed the men's big air title.

Zhuang Jiuwei and Xiao Liuyi won the men's and women's wingfoil racing events, respectively.

Pingtan, an island off the coast of Fujian Province, is considered one of China's premier kitesurfing spots. Enditem
