SINGAPORE, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Retail sales in Singapore rose 2 percent year-on-year in September, continuing the 0.7 percent growth in August, according to data released by the Department of Statistics on Tuesday.
Motor vehicle sales in Singapore grew 29.6 percent in September compared to a year earlier. Excluding motor vehicles, retail sales decreased 1.4 percent from last year.
The estimated retail sales value in September was 4 billion Singapore dollars (3.03 billion U.S. dollars), including 13.8 percent from the online market. Enditem
