WINDHOEK, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Namibia's national team coach Collin Benjamin on Tuesday announced a 28-man provisional squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

The Namibian team, affectionately known as 'The Brave Warriors,' is set to face Cameroon and Kenya on November 13 and 19, respectively.

Namibia currently finds itself at the bottom of Group J, having lost all four qualifying matches.

Group J of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification is one of 12 groups that will decide which teams will qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final tournament in Morocco. The group consists of four teams: Cameroon, Namibia, Kenya and Zimbabwe.

The 2025 AFCON qualifiers feature 48 teams divided into 12 groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the final in Morocco.

Namibia's 28-man squad, which includes three goalkeepers, 10 defenders, nine midfielders and six strikers, will commence training on Thursday in Windhoek, the country's football governing body said. Enditem
