YANGON, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar International Textile and Machinery Fair 2024 will take place in Yangon from Dec. 6 to Dec. 8, the state-run Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Wednesday.

The fair was co-organized by the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association and the Chinese Textile & Garment Association in Myanmar, with the aim of effectuating sustainable development of Myanmar garment businesses, the report said.

Over 20 Chinese brands will present their products in 120 booths, while Myanmar will participate in 40 booths, it added.

The event will feature garments and related goods, sewing machines, equipment, shoes, bags, and home textile products, the report said.

It will also include panel discussions, fashion shows to display made-in-Myanmar products, and costume and business matchings, it added. Enditem
