MADRID, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Spain national coach Luis de la Fuente has handed debut call-ups to three players for his side's forthcoming UEFA Nations League games.
FC Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado, Athletic Bilbao defender Aitor Paredes and Porto forward Samu Omorodion are included in the squad to play Denmark on November 15, followed by a home match against Switzerland three days later, as Spain looks to finish top of their group.
Barcelona duo Ferran Torres and Pau Cubarsi drop out of the squad along with midfielder Aleix Garcia and striker Joselu, while Alvaro Morata has been included despite being taken to hospital on Thursday after hitting his head in an accident.
De la Fuente explained that Torres was not fully fit, adding that the player had also been badly affected due to the recent floods in his home region of Valencia, which have caused widespread devastation and claimed the lives of 200 people.
