BISHKEK, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- A storm warning has been issued in Kyrgyzstan for the coming days, according to a report from the Kyrgyz hydrometeorological service on Monday.
Unstable weather is expected from Nov. 13 to 14, with occasional rain and snow anticipated in the foothill and mountainous areas of Kyrgyzstan. Fog is likely in some regions, and the west wind may reach speeds of 15 to 20 meters per second in certain areas. According to the report, packed snow and ice are expected on foothills and mountainous road sections.
The report said such weather conditions would complicate motor transport operations and affect communication companies, energy services, public utilities, and livestock grazing and care on pastures.
In the southern regions, temperatures are expected to drop to minus 1 to minus 3 degrees Celsius, posing risks to vegetable crops and uncovered potato tubers, the report noted. Enditem
