JERUSALEM -- Four Israeli soldiers were killed in an explosion in the northern Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Tuesday.

IDF said four members of the infantry Kfir Brigade's 92nd Battalion "fell during combat in the northern Gaza Strip." State-owned Kan TV reported that they were hit by an anti-tank missile in Jabalia. (Gaza-Israeli Soldiers-Deaths)

SANAA -- Yemen's Houthi group said it launched rocket and drone attacks on Tuesday targeting U.S. aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea and two U.S. destroyers in the Red Sea.

In a statement, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sarea said the attacks, both lasting eight hours, were carried out "in response to the British-American aggression on our country (Yemen), and in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese people." (Yemen-US Targets-Attacks)

TEHRAN -- Iran's First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Aref and Saudi Arabian Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud have expressed optimism about the future of bilateral relations.

During a meeting held Monday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on the sidelines of a summit with leaders from the Arab and Islamic world, the two sides discussed prospects for future cooperation, steps to halt Israel's "brutal aggressions" against the Palestinian and Lebanese people, and the delivery of humanitarian aid to war-affected regions, according to the Iranian state news agency IRNA. BEIRUT -- At least 32 people were killed and some others injured on Tuesday in Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported.

According to the NNA, in two separate Israeli airstrikes in Mount Lebanon, eight were killed and two injured in the town of Baalchmay, while 12 others were killed and eight more wounded in the village of Joun in Chouf district. (Lebanon-Israeli Strikes-Casualties) Enditem
