BEIRUT -- Israeli warplanes raided the Ghobeiry area in Beirut's southern suburbs on Friday morning, shortly after the Israeli army spokesman issued a warning to evacuate several buildings in the area.

MADRID -- At least ten died in an elderly home fire in northern Spain early Friday morning, and two were hospitalized with serious injuries, according to authorities.
The fire began around 5 a.m. local time (0400 GMT) in the town of Villafranca de Ebro for reasons still under investigation. DAMASCUS -- Israeli airstrikes targeted on Friday the Mazzeh neighborhood west of the Syrian capital Damascus for a second consecutive day, according to war monitor reports.

ISTANBUL -- A fire broke out at a factory in Türkiye's Istanbul on Friday, injuring 10 people from smoke inhalation, the state-run Anadolu Agency reported.
