BRUSSELS, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- A letter containing suspicious powder was discovered Friday morning at the Belgian Prime Minister's office, the Belga news agency reported.

This marks the third such incident in Brussels within a week.

A person who handled the letter was taken to the hospital as a precaution, though authorities confirmed no immediate signs of contamination. The Protection Civil has retrieved the letter, and the substance is being analyzed to determine its nature.

Earlier in the week, similar letters were sent to the State Security Service headquarters and the office of the Interior Minister. While no injuries have been reported in any of the cases, authorities are investigating potential connections between the incidents. Enditem
