ISLAMABAD, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- Three terrorists were killed in a military operation in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said on Tuesday.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said in a statement that personnel of security forces effectively engaged with terrorists in North Waziristan district of the province.

The ISPR said that the security forces successfully thwarted the terrorists' attempt to infiltrate through Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan district and killed the three terrorists.

The military said that security forces of Pakistan are determined to secure its borders and wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country. Enditem
