JAKARTA, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- A multi-vehicle accident in Indonesia's Jakarta on Tuesday has left two motorcyclists dead, the city police said.
According to a preliminary report, the collision occurred in a traffic intersection in Slipi in the city's western part at around 7 a.m. local time, when a semi-trailer truck collided fatally with seven vehicles ahead.
Chief of the Jakarta Police traffic directorate Latif Usman revealed that the 44-year-old driver had been feeling sleepy and exhausted, running a red light and hitting the vehicles ahead. The driver was detained in the police station while further investigations continue, he added.
