CAIRO -- Seven people remained missing two days after a safari boat capsized off Egypt's southeastern Red Sea coast, according to Egyptian Armed Forces Spokesman Gharib Abdel-Hafez on Wednesday.
So far, five more people have been rescued and four bodies recovered during the search efforts over the past two days, bringing the total number of survivors to 33, including the 28 rescued on Monday, the day of the incident. (Egypt-Boat Accident)

GAZA -- Hamas said on Wednesday that it is ready to cooperate with any ceasefire efforts in the Gaza Strip, following a ceasefire deal struck between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

BEIRUT -- Calm prevails over the border areas in southern Lebanon on Wednesday as a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon took effect at 4:00 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), according to Lebanese security sources.
The sources, who spoke anonymously, told Xinhua that the Israeli army on Wednesday attacked towns and villages in the western Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon and the border town of Khiam in southern Lebanon, and then stopped its airstrikes about 10 minutes before the ceasefire went into effect. DAMASCUS -- The Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) rebel group and allied factions launched a major offensive on Syrian military positions in the western countryside of Aleppo province on Wednesday, resulting in territorial gains and 89 deaths, according to a war monitor.
