ISLAMABAD -- Four terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said on Thursday.

The security forces conducted the operation in the Khyber district of the province on the reported presence of terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said in a statement. (Pakistan-Military Operation)

NEW DELHI -- At least 12 people died and over 20 were injured in a bus accident in India's southwestern state of Maharashtra on Friday, a local police officer said over the phone.

KUALA LUMPUR -- Worsening floods have displaced 98,129 people and killed three across several states in Malaysia as of 8 p.m. local time on Friday.

TOKYO -- An explosion at a factory in Aichi prefecture, central Japan, left one person unconscious on Friday, local media reported.
