BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held a ceremony on Friday to honor the academic achievements of the children of its personnel, local media reported.

According to the local daily Borneo Bulletin, the ceremony was held at the Defence Academy Auditorium of Brunei, and a total of 163 children received excellence and appreciation awards.

The event aims to express appreciation to the children of RBAF officers and personnel who have achieved excellent academic results, encouraging them to continuously pursue excellence, according to the press release from Brunei's Ministry of Defence.
