KABUL, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- The Afghan caretaker government's national procurement commission has approved 317 development projects across the nation over the past three years, as reported by the office of the acting deputy prime minister for economic affairs.
The projects, which cost 85 billion afghani (about 1.2 billion U.S. dollars), paved the way for the country's development and also provided job opportunities to hundreds of thousands of people.
The report said domestic product projects have been given priority, adding that 3 billion afghani have been saved in the project contacts approved by the national procurement commission.
The government plans to launch more development and infrastructure projects on its domestic budget across the war-ravaged country to tackle economic challenges and create job opportunities. Enditem
