BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Members of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) need to maintain solidarity and unity, considering the geopolitical uncertainties, said Amin Liew, Brunei's minister at the Prime Minister's Office and second minister of Finance and Economy.

Brunei Darussalam reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with all parties to ensure that the CPTPP remains the gold standard and continues to bring mutual benefits to member economies, the local daily Borneo Bulletin reported on Monday.

Members should take advantage of the accession process to broaden market access, diversify trade linkages, and ensure that supply chains remain resilient to shocks, the official said during the Eighth Meeting of the CPTPP Commission held recently. Enditem
