PHNOM PENH, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone will pay an official visit to Cambodia on Dec. 4-5 at the invitation of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, said a Cambodian foreign ministry's press release on Monday.

Sonexay will have a bilateral meeting with Hun Manet at the Peace Palace, where they will have an in-depth discussion on further fostering warm relations and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in line with good neighborliness, traditional friendship, and a comprehensive and long-lasting strategic partnership.

"The two prime ministers will also exchange their views on regional and international issues of common interest," the press release said. "The two leaders will also preside over the signing of some cooperative documents."

Sonexay's visit will further cement the bonds of traditional friendship, which "happily exist and expand cooperation in all fields between the two countries", the press release said. Enditem
