TEHRAN, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- A trainer plane belonging to Iran's army crashed on Wednesday in the southern Iranian province of Fars, killing both the pilot and co-pilot, the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA) reported.

The incident occurred at 14:45 local time (1115 GMT) in Firuzabad County, Vahid Sha'abani, director general of the provincial department of security and law enforcement affairs, was quoted as saying.
