RAMALLAH, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Palestine and Germany signed two agreements on Wednesday on financial support totaling 23 million Euros (24 million U.S. dollars) to improve roads, water, and waste management and provide emergency aid in Palestine.
The agreements were signed in Ramallah, the central West Bank, by Palestinian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wael Zaqout and German Representative in Palestine Oliver Owcza, according to an official statement.
Zaqout thanked the German government, highlighting that the grant will greatly support local development and improve services for the Palestinian people.
Owcza confirmed that the agreements are part of Germany's continued support for the Palestinian government across various sectors, reflecting strong cooperation between the two governments. Enditem
