KABUL, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- The construction of four development projects has begun in east Afghanistan's Khost province, the state-run Bakhtar news agency reported on Friday.
At a cost of 93 million afghanis (about 1.35 million U.S. dollars), including the construction of roads, retaining walls, and culverts, which will improve the living conditions of thousands of people in the province.
The report added that the authorities have launched various projects, including road construction in the eastern Laghman province.
The Afghan caretaker government plans to launch more development projects across the war-ravaged country to address economic challenges and create jobs. Enditem
