BUENOS AIRES, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Carlos Palacios is set to leave Chilean champion Colo-Colo to join Argentina's Boca Juniors, the Buenos Aires side said on Tuesday.

The clubs have agreed in principle to a deal that will reportedly tie the 24-year-old Chile international forward to Boca until 2027.

"Carlos Palacios will arrive in the country on Wednesday night and undergo a medical on Thursday. If everything goes well, he will become a Boca player," read a statement on the club's website.

Palacios has made 77 appearances for Colo-Colo and scored 26 goals since his arrival from Vasco da Gama in 2023.

Boca is currently sixth in Argentina's 28-team Primera Division standings with one match remaining in the season. Enditem
