Brunei veteran association launches business center, online platform

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- The Veterans Association of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces officially launched its business center and online commerce platform, local media reported on Wednesday.

According to the local daily Borneo Bulletin, the Veterans Confederation of ASEAN Countries (VECONAC) Business Center provides veterans with the skills, resources, and mentorship needed to succeed in the halal economy, marking a milestone in the veteran association's development.

Captain (Rtd) Zailan bin Dato Paduka Mohd Don, director of the VECONAC Business Center, said that recognizing strategic partnerships and collaboration is key to shared prosperity and growth for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) veterans.

Brunei is a Southeast Asian country located in the northern part of Borneo Island, with a population of 340,000 citizens and a good level of social welfare. Enditem
