KIEV, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- At least nine people were killed and 22 others injured on Tuesday in a Russian ballistic missile strike on Ukraine's southern city of Zaporizhzhia, the region's governor Ivan Fedorov said on Wednesday.
The attack damaged 20 houses, a private clinic, and two educational establishments in the city center, Fedorov wrote in a post on Telegram.
Emergency teams are working at the site, where several people are believed to be trapped under the rubble. The ongoing search and rescue operation involves about 160 personnel and 50 units of equipment. Enditem
