WINDHOEK, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Twelve Namibian referees and assistant referees have been selected by the world soccer governing body FIFA to officiate international matches in 2025, the Namibia Football Association (NFA) announced Wednesday.
Five referees and seven assistant referees have been included on the 2025 FIFA International Referee List, the NFA said.
"The NFA extends its heartfelt congratulations to these exceptional referees on this remarkable achievement. Their inclusion on the FIFA list marks a proud moment for Namibian football," the NFA added in a statement.
The association aims to ensure that Namibian officials continue to excel on the international stage, and encourages aspiring referees to work hard to achieve their goals. Enditem
