Brunei holds civic program to cultivate future leaders

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Forty-six participants have completed the Brunei Darussalam Civic Program following a certificate presentation ceremony at the Auditorium Hall of the Information Department of Brunei, local media reported.

According to the local daily Borneo Bulletin, in an effort to foster civic awareness and the spirit of volunteering among the participants, the program also includes community work activities and the delivery of donations of basic goods.

Throughout the program, participants had the opportunity to listen to briefings from the Information Department, the Royal Brunei Police Force, the Anti-Corruption Bureau, the Health Promotion Centre, Cyber Security Brunei, and Nextacloud Technologies Sdn Bhd.

The program participants include graduates who have completed and are currently undergoing higher education in the country, as well as graduates from overseas and undergraduates from higher education institutions who are undergoing job placements at the Information Department of Brunei. Enditem
