SEOUL, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Moon Hyung-bae, acting head of South Korea's Constitutional Court, said Saturday it will conduct a speedy and fair trial as the National Assembly earlier voted to impeach President Yoon Suk-yeol over his martial law declaration.

The court now has 180 days to decide whether to approve the parliament's decision, a development that can trigger an early snap presidential election. Enditem
