PARIS -- At least two people have died and significant material damage is reported in Mayotte as Cyclone Chido swept through the French Indian Ocean territory on Saturday, French media said.

MADRID -- Isak Andic, the founder of the global fashion chain Mango, passed away on Saturday after falling off a cliff in north-eastern Spain, the company announced.

ATHENS -- The death toll from the sinking of a migrant boat off the island of Crete in southern Greece on Friday night has risen to five, Greek authorities said on Saturday.

CAIRO -- Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Saturday inaugurated a 500-million-U.S. dollars solar plant in the southern city of Aswan as part of Egypt's efforts to boost renewable energy production.
