Brunei launches inclusive fun fest event

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Inclusive Fun Fest event officially launched in Brunei on Sunday, in conjunction with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPWD), local media reported.

According to the local daily Borneo Bulletin, the event's theme was "Amplifying the Leadership of Persons with Disabilities for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future," and it was held in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of the Sultanate.

The event aims to celebrate the participation and progress of persons with disabilities (PWD) in society, according to the media report. A "Fun Walk" covering a distance of 1.40 kilometers was attended by more than 200 participants including PWD.

The public also had the opportunity to visit exhibitions and participate in activities organized by various PWD associations, non-governmental organizations and the private sector, according to the Borneo Bulletin. Enditem
