BERLIN, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- The struggles of German champions Bayer Leverkusen appear to be over. With seven consecutive unbeaten games in the Bundesliga, Xabi Alonso's side is firmly back in the title race.

"We're doing well in the role of the hunters," said team captain Lukas Hradecky, following a 2-0 victory over Augsburg that added to crucial wins in the German Cup and UEFA Champions League.
