LOS ANGELES, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft departed the International Space Station (ISS) on Monday and is on its way back to Earth.
The spacecraft undocked with ISS at 11:05 a.m. Monday Eastern Time. It is expected to splash down off the coast of Florida on Tuesday morning.
It is SpaceX's 31st commercial resupply mission for NASA. The spacecraft returns to Earth with research, including microbial water samples and data on crew radiation exposure, according to NASA. Enditem
