BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- Two Bruneian non-governmental organizations signed a memorandum of understanding on lifesaving skills and training in water activities, local media reported on Wednesday.
The two organizations, the Beach Bunch and the Kinabalu Life Saving Society, aim to develop and deliver high-quality water safety training programs, according to local daily Borneo Bulletin.
The organizations will organize public awareness campaigns on drowning prevention and share best practices and resources. President of The Beach Bunch Rizan Latif said that the collaboration "signifies a powerful stride towards elevating lifesaving sports in Brunei."
